On October 12, 2015, 9 years ago, the Hospital Shell adventure began. A year from now ago, we went through the most serious crisis, which we overcame in a good way through God’s intervention.

Last month I used the example of Caleb and Joshua being the only two scouts of the twelve with a vision for the future. The team in Shell has this vision and also the motivation, but they had to survive a difficult month – the peak of the annual rainy season.

Eckehart is now back in Germany but we have stayed in communication with the team in Ecuador. They are growing together and a spirit of joy predominates.

We praise God that the hospital is surviving financially and that there has been a lot of progress at the hospital since the new administration began 6 months ago.
